The service provided by Solanki is excellent, everything is explained very thoroughly. However the best thing about Solanki are the staff! They are always so friendly and helpful and very caring. My lenses arrive very quickly as the service is so efficient. I would not like to go to any other opticians!

Solanki is quite simply the best opticians we have used and I have worn eye correction since I was 4. My son has needed glasses since 3 and the ladies have dealt with 23 years of running repairs and helped him into contact lenses.
I have a very complication prescription and can wear contact lenses again due to their dedication and determination to get the best possible vision for me.

I have been more than happy with the service and treatment I have received over the years that I have been a customer. The staff are always helpful and courteous and nothing is too much trouble. I have both contact lenses checks and full eye tests and these are very thorough and reminders are always sent.

Solanki is simply excellent. The personal expert support and assistance I received was second to none. I had tried vari-focal glasses twice before from a budget opticians without success. I thought they were not for me but the team at Solanki made me some which are comfortable to wear and correct my visual deficit perfectly.
For the past 4 years I have as a diabetic had retinal photos taken by Solanki, again promptly, with minimal waiting and the service is always with a smile. From the reception staff (in both Huntingdon and St Ives), to the optician, to the optometry & dispensing staff, everyone is approachable, kind, good humoured and friendly. I warmly recommend their services.

How was this different to previous opticians you’ve dealt with ? It’s so long since I went elsewhere that I can’t recall.
How do you feel about your spectacles now? As they should be. Alison and her colleagues are always extremely attentive, efficient and friendly. And they don’t pressurise me to buy anything I don’t need.

My glasses lens dropped out off the frame which cost £300 and they couldn't fix it then my wife had her glasses checked today and cleaned and her lens became loose. I think standard may have gone down there !!
